I do, as often as I can

Yesterday was PKM day, today is my NDM-86's turn!

Busted. Every time I build a new rifle, I have a hard time putting it down. I'm still amazed when I handle them. Matter of fact, I had to take my Rusky 74 in to have the gas block pins drilled and installed (stupid Russians and their punch press process anyway), and I sat and fondled the damn thing for 15 minutes before I left the house.

I just bought a CAI G1 FAL, and have been having a hard time putting it back in the safe. It's going to get worse when the G1 parts kit I ordered from APEX comes in today, as now I've got all the original parts that need to be degreased, cleaned up, repaired, and painted before I can put them on the rifle.

Sometimes it borders on obsession. But damn is it fun!
How do you compromise with someone when their idea of compromise is to give them what THEY want?

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Yeah.......but only when I'm alone. I wait for the wife to go to the store or something and then....well, you know. Sometimes, to get myself in the mood, I have to look at gun magazines though.

Seriously, you had to ask? Who here doesn't?

I'm just grateful I've never had a ND dry-firing my pistol from my bed into the widescreen TV on the wall! (I seem to remember a member or two here who's done that one!)

All my guns are down in the vault... and I routinely rotate a different pistol in my nightstand lock box every other week it seems... enough so, that I just keep scores of spare mags and ammo in the nightstand drawer and rotate the pistols out now.

I keep a pistol in my sock drawer so every time i get a clean pair of socks out to wear, i get to hold it and look at it, which is at least once, sometimes twice a week
