    Yeah that would suck to drop your attacker with a good shot but then go up in flames like a human torch.

    mriddick, if Taurus does things right the cylinder length of their .38 Spl. revolvers will be just over 0.10" shorter than those chamber for .357 Mag.to prevent the wrong ammunition being used. All Taurus Model 85 revolver and their variants are chambered in .38 Spl. Hope this helps!
