You just fight the urge to take it out of the box and pop it's cherry!
You can fire several 100 rounds thru it and it will still look new. Enjoy that Poly!
I sold all my guns and ammo, now I live the quiet retired life.

Depending on the horse an the the breed of stock 1500 to 3000 tops...PolyTech's going for 1500 plus so yea that would of been a pretty good deal to me... Nice too so when your friends say you have a Ak-47 you say yep sure do.. Brand you In the box !

    Cool

Congrats Lee! That is a nice looking weapon. So you going to just look at it or are you going to go shoot it?

What many miss about the rifle you have is how rare it is. Notice that it is an AKM, not a milled AK. Notice it does not have the typical Poly Tech underfolding bayo.

When David Keng first imported his Poly Tech AKMs he got the standard Norinco 56S style but sooned wanted to differentiate his Poly Techs from the Norincos, and at the same time was trying to figure out what would sell in the land of shall not be infringed.

He only imported a few of the style you have before switching to the underfolding bayo style.

Congrats on one really nice piece of history!
