Looks like we might have the makings of a hurricane headed our way. Florence is heading due west right now and the High Pressure areas, to the north of her, will keep her from turning too far northward, then the Cold Front that's moving off the East Coast of the US will continue to push her westward right into us. Not sure where, if, or when she'll make landfall, but it looks like the weather patterns want to keep her headed westward.
For those of us on the east coast, we might want to do a little prepping and beat the rush IF she does make landfall.
Don't forget that there are two more Low Pressure areas just behind her that look promising for forming into hurricanes AND these are forming lower than Florence, so they may follow normal paths and strike lower in the US than Florence might.
If you're on the east coast, you might want to keep an eye out for what's happening....
