Was eyeing an auction in the near future and three different firearms caught my eye:

S&W Talo 629-6, 3"bbl. NIB

Colt Diamondback, .38 Spec., 2.5"bbl, blue non factory stocks. 95% finish

Colt Python, blued, 6"bbl, special cased edition, circa 1981.. NIB

I think the S&W is worth around $800. The Diamondback, maybe around that price as well. The Python, don't need another 6" or a special edition but I figure it's worth $2000+ just as a NIB Python.

Doubt that I would spring for all three but two might be a possibility depending on what they sell for. I'm thinking the DB is the one I want the most as I love a nice snubby .38. The S&W would be my second choice but if I could score both for $1500 or less I might go for it. I'm sure the Python will go for more money than I want a spend for a gun that is little different then the one I have already. Now if it were to hit say $1K and stop I'd scarf it up in a NY minute.

What do you guys think on my pricing and or train of thought? TIA
