My ceramic firebox had cracked a few years ago but the pit still worked fine so I ignored it but Primo sent me a replacement under warranty. Yesterday I finally got around to swapping it out. First I did a high temp clean/burn off with the old one in place. Decided as long as I had a screaming hot grill I'd sear off a skirt steak I had marinated in some beer, lime, cider vinegar, cilantro, garlic, peppers and cumin. Then I charred some peppers and green onions. Sorry, no pics of the finished tacos. Big time win. Will definitely do again. Had a Punch torpedo and some domestic lagers to help with the process.... Whatcha grillin' or smokin'?
