My choice in the .45/ACP-AR revolvers is the S&W 25-2 HB. It can deliver great accuracy in any handgun competition or just plunking beer cans.

Sigh. I have an M1917 revolver that I can shoot .45 ACP in half or full moon clips. Have never handled a dedicated .45 acp revolver yet. I'd be curious to see how they addressed the problems of having a rimless cartridge

Is there any reason you cant bore the cylinder to headspace on the mouth like the barrel of an auto? From what I understand extraction without moon clips becomes a problem

The S&W 25-2 works like the S&W 1917 it uses moon clips or .45 AR rounds. It is dedicated to accuracy with a HB and Adj Sights.
