"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

Man, with a torch and welder, and a grinder and drill, you can be a fabricating fool.

Earlier this summer I realized that I could use the side burner of my gas grill to light my lump charcoal instead of newspaper.

I decided to take the burner off, the gas grill is trashed and hasn't been used in a couple years. One problem is that it was a right side burner and it was going on the left side of the smoker...

I removed the front flange and tack-welded it to the other side of the burner frame. Now the real problem was that the pan the burner was sitting in wasn't centered. I had to cut off a bunch of the pipe connected to the burner underneath so it would reach the knob and the other parts as it sat too close now.

The other end of the gas line was plugged with a tightly fitting screw and epoxy.

During the installation process I broke the electric start wire, but I can solder that back together later.

This will make things so much easier. Lump Charcoal only!!!! No chemical briquettes here

Damn, i love redneck engineering. I'm trying to turn an old auto parts washer to a grill/smoker, gonna be LOTS of polock fabrication, we have different way of doing shit than rednecks do.
