Only working in the morning's till it gets too hot up there
Staircase is in now so I have way better access
Smaller opening which is easier to close off with insulation tacked up temporarily
I've added foil faced rigid insulation to the walls and foil faced bubble wrap to the ceiling over the batt insulation
Won't be able to tell how effective it is until the whole space is enclosed but the wall surface seems much cooler to the touch than before I put it in
I've also got the beams fabricated, in place and have gotten the weight of the roof off the floor
I did get some help from my neighbor's sons to put the beams in.
They're in high school football and wrestling and made it look real easy
Twenty bucks for five minutes work, I should be able to get them to help again
